Express Employment is looking for a Wastewater Maintenance Technician.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm
Pay: $18/hour
Location: Chico, Ca
Job Description:
- Cleans pump vaults, filters, screens and flushes manifolds.
- Performs treatment facility inspections as well as residential inspections.
- Ensures that maintenance policies and procedures are understood and implemented and that local, state, and federal regulations are followed.
- Monitors wells and collects site samples.
- Reads and documents panels at multiple sites.
- Ensures that maintenance schedules are maintained in a timely manner.
- All other duties assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions.
- Ability to lift heavy objects often, and on a daily basis.
- Ability to work daily in various weather conditions.
- Ability to follow written protocols.
- Knowledge of monitoring techniques to perform routine tests.
- Knowledge of mechanical equipment and testing to perform quality control checks and
troubleshooting of equipment.
- Knowledge of terminology to communicate with owner and related resource agencies.
- Skill in operating a variety of mechanical equipment.
Experience:
- 1 year of current experience.
