Express is looking for a Project Coordinator. Must have at least 1-2 years of current experience.
Pay: $24 - $28/Hour
Work Hours: Monday – Thursday 6 am – 4:30 pm
Work Schedule:
• Full time, 40-hour work week.
• Schedule may vary depending on the needs of the company
• Must be willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed to achieve company goals.

Job Summary: Ensure accurate and timely project completion by gathering necessary resources and information, leveraging strong communication and organization skills to facilitate a smooth process.
Essential Functions:
• Support the planning and execution of projects such as renovations, installations, and facility upgrades.
• Report on projects status, identify potential problems, and recommend solutions.
• Create project plans and timelines that reflect the organization’s objectives and priorities.
• Organize regular meetings to discuss maintenance schedules, project updates, and address concerns.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to align project activities with the maintenance schedule and priorities.
• Gather and compile architectural documents and drawings for contractor assistance.
• Track and manage documents, statuses, and timing of multiple concurrent projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders, as needed.
• Assist with budget management, including cost tracking, and reporting for assigned projects.
• Help with ordering parts or materials, and equipment.
• Assist with maintaining an accurate inventory.
Food Safety and Environmental Health and Safety Requirements/Responsibilities:
• Comply with all Facility, State and Federal OSHA, EPA, FDA, HACCP, and SQF regulations.
• Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Food Safety Procedures.
• Comply with the company’s Injury Illness Prevention Program, Safety Policies, Procedures, and Programs.
• Follow all relevant Procedures and Work Instructions to ensure all job duties are understood.
• Report food safety problems to personnel with authority to ensure the appropriate action is taken.
• Conduct verification of monitoring activities to assure finished product comply with food safety and quality specifications, as necessary.
• Participates in the yearly review of the food safety system.
• Assist in the maintenance of Food Safety and Quality system.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must have strong organizational skills.
• Must have basic reading, writing and math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
Essential Functions – Physical Demands:
• Able to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors.
• Able to effectively interpret printed materials and differentiate various products packed.
• Able to lift, carry, and hold up to 30 lbs.
• Able to stoop and/or kneel to access equipment when needed.
• Able to retrieve and work with appropriate equipment and supplies.
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or GED Required. Associate degree in a related field, preferred.
• At least 1-2 years of current, related experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment required. Experience in project coordination, highly preferred. Education may be used to substitute experience.
Physical Work Environment:
• Office environment.
• Work area is in an environment with varied moderate temperatures and areas of excessive noise. Position involves exposure to odors, dust, rice by-products, food grade chemicals, and mosquitoes.
• Requires use of provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to protect from injury or exposure.
• Involves indoor and outdoor work, in all types of weather.
