Job Description:
• Lead and manage quality assurance activities all departments.
• Maintain and improve the company’s quality management systems and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee inspections, testing, measurement, and quality-control processes to ensure products meet specifications and customer requirements.
• Review quality data, identify trends, investigate nonconforming products, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and maintain inspection plans, procedures, work instructions, quality records, and other controlled documentation.
• Lead internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
• Work closely with production, engineering, tooling, and management teams to identify quality issues and improve manufacturing processes.
• Monitor customer complaints and quality concerns, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement effective corrective actions.
• Supervise, train, and support quality personnel while promoting a strong culture of accuracy, consistency, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure accurate calibration and proper use of inspection and measurement equipment.
Requirements & Experience
• 5+ years of current quality assurance/quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field, although significant manufacturing quality experience may be considered in place of a degree.
• Experience leading or supervising a quality department or quality personnel.
• Strong knowledge of quality control, inspections, testing, documentation, and corrective actions.
• Experience with root-cause analysis, CAPA, nonconforming products, and continuous improvement.
• Experience using precision measurement and inspection equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T.
• Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word, and experience with quality-management/document-control systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with quality management systems.
