Express Employment is looking for a Welder for a long term.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 7A.M. – 3:30 P.M. (Hours may varies on weather or workload)
Pay: $19.50 - $25/hour DOE
Location: Chico, CA
Job Description:
- Build and complete projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
- Operate a variety of fabrication equipment, including:
- Band saws
- Grinders
- Welding machines
- Drill presses
- Other tools commonly used in a full-service fabrication shop
- Follow industry-standard safety procedures and consistently wear the required PPE.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of welding and metal fabrication best practices.
- Be comfortable working on a wide variety of custom fabrication projects rather than repetitive work.
- Fabricate items such as gates, fences, handrails, and other custom metalwork.
- Maintain a professional, friendly, and customer-focused attitude when interacting with customers.
- Demonstrate reliability, good character, teamwork, and attention to detail.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements:
- 1 - 5 years of current experience
- Must have clean background check
- Read, understand, and interpret shop drawings and blueprints.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
