Job Full Description
Express Employment is looking for a Part-Time Delivery Driver. This position is responsible for safely transporting and delivering mattresses, bed frames, and related products to customers homes and commercial locations. This role involves heavy lifting, excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and professional delivery vehicle.
Pay: $16.50/Hr
Work Hours: Monday & Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Location: Chico, Ca

Job Description:
- Load, secure, and unload mattresses, adjustable bases, and furniture items
- Safely operate a delivery truck to deliver mattresses and related products
- Ensure products are delivered without damage and handle all items with care
- Communicate professionally with customers and provide exceptional service
- Review and obtain delivery signatures, complete delivery logs, and maintain accurate paperwork
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Follow all safety protocols, traffic laws, and company delivery procedures
- Assist warehouse staff with loading and organizing inventory as needed
- Handle removal of old mattresses when required (if offered by company)
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record
- 6 months to 1 year of recent delivery or driving experience
- Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver items up to 100 lbs or more
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
