Express Employment is looking for a Full-Time, Lab Technician. This is a Long Term position.
Location: Chico, Ca
Pay: $20 - $25/Hour DOE
Work Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8am - 6:30pm (Hours may diff)

Job Duties:
• Prepare and maintain sterile cultures (agar plates, grain spawn, liquid cultures)
• Perform inoculations and transfers using aseptic techniques.
• Monitor growth conditions (temperature, humidity, contamination).
• Record data, maintain lab logs, and track culture performance.
• Clean and sterilize lab equipment and workspaces.
• Assist with strain development, testing, and quality control.
• Follow lab safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• All other duties assigned by Supervisor.
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of current experience.
• Prior lab or sterile environment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques, basica lab equipment (microscope, autoclave, pipettes) and data recording.
• Ability to follow precise procedures and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
