Express Employment is looking for a CNC Machine Operator / Machinist. This is a long-term position.
Location: Oroville, CA
Pay: $18 - $20/Hour DOE
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Job Description:
- Operate CNC equipment using established programs and procedures.
- Measure and cut raw metal material to the required length.
- Load, position, and secure material in the CNC machine.
- Perform basic machine setup and zeroing before running parts.
- Run CNC programs and monitor the machine during operation.
- Remove completed parts and repeat production processes consistently.
- Perform basic quality checks using calipers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Operate a machinist's lathe for basic and repetitive machining tasks.
- Operate band saws, grinders, drill presses, and other common shop equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Identify and report equipment, tooling, or quality issues.
- All other duties assigned by the Supervisor
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of current experience
- CNC machine operation experience preferred
- Basic machining and measuring tool knowledge
- Ability to read basic work instructions/drawings
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow safety and production procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
