Receiving Clerk / Warehouse Associate
1st Shift | $20–$21/hr DOE | Santa Ana, CA
Full-Time | Evaluation Hire | Immediate Opening
A busy manufacturing company in Santa Ana is looking for an organized and dependable Receiving Clerk to join their warehouse team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring that all incoming materials and shipments are accurately received, labeled, and distributed to the appropriate departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive all incoming raw materials, supplies, and shipments from vendors (UPS, FedEx, freight, etc.)
- Use a forklift or cherry picker to safely unload trucks and move pallets or boxes
- Verify incoming materials against packing lists to ensure accuracy and quality
- Report any damaged or incorrect shipments to Customer Service for resolution
- Scan packing lists and generate product labels for all received items
- Place materials in designated storage locations or deliver directly to production lines
- Transport materials to the cable cutting area or other departments as needed
- Maintain organized and accurate warehouse inventory
- Support ongoing inventory control and quality standards for audits and compliance
Qualifications
- Prior experience in receiving, warehouse, or inventory control preferred
- Forklift experience required (certification is a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with high daily volume (200–300 items/day)
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented attitude
