Job Title: Production Assembler
Location: Santa Ana, CA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | Day Shift | 7:00AM - 3:30PM
Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Production Assembler / Cable Assembly Technician to join a growing manufacturing team. In this role, you will assemble products according to customer specifications, operate cable cutting machinery, and ensure production quality standards are met. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Read work orders, production drawings, and sample assemblies to understand job requirements
- Interpret customer drawings and assemble products according to specifications
- Set up and operate cable cutting machinery according to spec sheets
- Use basic measurements and conversions (inches, feet, meters) to ensure accurate cuts and assembly
- Adjust machinery and tools as needed to maintain production quality
- Identify and report defective materials or products according to company procedures
- Perform basic autonomous maintenance on equipment used during production
- Work collaboratively with team members on the production line
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
- Assist with cycle counts, physical inventory, and pulling materials from storage racks
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly preferred
- Ability to read basic production drawings or work orders
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to use measuring tools and understand measurement conversions
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
- Comfortable working with machinery and production equipment
