Job Full Description
EXPRESS EMPLOYMENT OF DOWNEY is currently seeking a Sanitation Tech for a frozen foods manufacturer in PARAMOUNT, CA.
Schedule: 3:30PM - 11:00PM (Monday through Friday)
Pay: $21.00 an hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness + upkeep of common areas (Lunch room, break room, locker room) and production area
- Maintain cleanliness of ALL restrooms
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Maintains clean and safe work environment
- Disinfect and sanitize all work areas
- Collects and removes trash from a building or space
Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of sanitation / janitorial experience REQUIRED
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to wear a respirator with no issues along with rain boots, water proof apron, safety goggles
- Must know how to follow instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Works well under pressure
- Able to take initiative
