Express Employment of Downey is currently seeking a QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER for a machine shop/manufacturer in the city of Paramount, CA.
Schedule: morning shift (Monday through Friday - possible OT)
Pay: $39.00 to $42.00 an hour (DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Check all shipment certifications and data packages created for accuracy
- Interface with annual auditor for AS9100/ISO9001 certification
- Conduct RCCA's (root cause and corrective action)
- Check inspection records and supplier certifications
- Write purchase orders for outside processing and raw material
- Complete FAI's (first article inspection) per AS9102
- Assist manufacturing engineer with planning
- Make compliance matrix's per customer drawing requirements
- Ensure customer PO and drawing requirements are flowed down in planning
- Send raw material samples out for testing
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 5 years experience in a quality assurance manager role
- Clean background REQUIRED
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiar with use of calipers and measuring devices
- Ability to work independently
