RN Supervisor – Nursing Department
$115-$135k annually
Monday -Friday / 9am-6pm
We are seeking a dynamic Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Based at our headquarters in Whittier, California, this leadership role includes 30% travel to our Ambulatory Infusion Suite (AIS) locations in Northern California and San Diego to support operations, staff, and ensure consistency across all sites. Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the RN Supervisor plays a hands-on leadership role, providing guidance, conducting audits, mentoring staff, and ensuring consistent, high-quality patient care. This position requires travel between locations and the flexibility to step in for clinical support when needed, making it ideal for a confident, adaptable leader who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
RN Supervisor Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day clinical operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and patient-centered care
- Manage staffing schedules and coverage, responding to gaps and changes promptly
- Provide hands-on patient care during staff shortages, clinical escalations, or specialized infusion needs
- Conduct regular audits to ensure regulatory and safety compliance
- Collaborate with pharmacy, lab, and case management to streamline workflows and enhance outcomes
- Lead training, performance evaluations, and staff development initiatives
- Monitor quality metrics and support ongoing improvement efforts
- Maintain accurate documentation and incident reporting
- Support crisis response and resolve operational challenges
RN Supervisor Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or a related field
- Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred); Ig and/or INS certification strongly preferred
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in both acute and home health care settings
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills; able to lead teams with clarity and accountability
- Comfortable working across multiple locations; flexible and responsive to changing priorities
- Physically able to stand, walk for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs as needed
- Must be able to travel by car to AIS locations in Northern California and San Diego
- Willingness to participate in on-call, evening, or weekend coverage as required
