Maintenance Tech 3
(Mon-Thur / 4pm – 12am & Fri 2pm-10pm)
$30.00-$33.00 per hour / DOE
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our 2nd shift team. In this role, you will perform preventative and on-demand maintenance on a variety of systems including electrical motors, conveyor systems, material handling equipment, and general building infrastructure. You will be responsible for troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical issues, ensuring equipment reliability and supporting safe, efficient operations in our Fulfillment Center.
Maintenance Tech 3 Responsibilities
- Repair and troubleshoot conveyor systems and material handling equipment
- Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues
- Maintain and repair motors, man-lifts, propane torches, welding tools, and battery chargers
- Conduct general facility maintenance such as light plumbing, carpentry, painting, and HVAC
- Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Work with high voltage (up to 480VAC) and low voltage DC systems
- Use vendor manuals and procedures to perform repairs
- Operate powered equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Support safe work practices and assist in directing other technicians as needed
Maintenance Tech 3 Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical/electronic control systems
- Experience with motor control and lighting systems
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with seasonal temperature changes
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Commitment to safety and ability to follow all protocols
- Ability to be trained and certified on MHE equipment
