Sit down Forklift Operator (Cerritos, CA)
Monday- Friday/ 8am-4:30pm plus OT
$20.00 per hour
An industrial distributor in Cerritos is seeking a reliable and certified forklift operator for a temporary assignment. Must have experience in shipping and receiving as well.
Sit down Forklift Operator Responsibilities:
- Handle all incoming and outgoing deliveries in a timely and organized manner
- Unload pallets and verify shipment contents for accuracy and quality
- Use sit down Forklift to unload and load product.
- Replenish shipping materials and maintain adequate stock levels
- Create and maintain logs, records, and documentation for all shipments.
- Identify, report, and document any shipping or receiving errors
- Communicate effectively with delivery drivers, warehouse staff, and management
Stand up Forklift Operator Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in packing, shipping, or warehouse operations
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit down forklift.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Good communication and teamwork skills
