Custodian / Facility Maintenance Associate (Fullerton, Ca)
Pay: $21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
A well-established company in the logistics and supply chain industry is looking for a dependable and hands-on Custodian / Facility Maintenance Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse facility.
This position is ideal for someone with janitorial experience who is comfortable operating a forklift, using industrial cleaning equipment, and assisting with basic facility maintenance. You'll play an important role in keeping the facility running smoothly!
What You'll Be Doing

Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and removing trash.

Clean and disinfect restrooms, break rooms, offices, and common areas.

Operate industrial ride-on floor scrubbers and sweepers.

Assist with basic facility maintenance, including minor dock door repairs and dock leveler cleaning.

Operate a forklift to move and stack pallets.

Safely refill forklift propane tanks.

Restock restrooms and break rooms with necessary supplies.

Keep cleaning equipment, supply rooms, and storage areas organized.

Follow all safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and operating equipment.

Report maintenance concerns and supply shortages to the supervisor.
What We're Looking For

Previous janitorial or custodial experience required.

Forklift experience required.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English.

Comfortable following written and verbal instructions.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.

Dependable attendance and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Physical & Work Environment

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors year-round.

Ability to operate forklifts and industrial cleaning equipment safely.

Ability to handle cleaning supplies while following proper safety procedures and wearing required PPE.
