Express Employment Professionals Laguna Hills is recruiting a Inventory Control Coordinator for a medical device company in San Clemente, CA.  This company is growing and looking to add a new permanent team member.  This is a full-time eval/hire offering up to $22/hour DOE.

Schedule: M-F Day shift; 3:00pm-11:00pm

 Key Responsibilities

  • Inventory Management & Accuracy
    • Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, sub-assemblies, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
    • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in coordination with appropriate teams.
    • Ensure timely and accurate adjustments are made to reflect actual inventory levels.
    • Monitor and support Kanban systems to optimize inventory flow and minimize shortages.
  • Material Handling & Stocking
    • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to replenish cleanroom inventory in alignment with the production schedule.
    • Stock, track, and maintain materials within the cleanroom and materials room.
    • Stage materials for production in accordance with the build plan and cleanliness standards.
  • Production Support
    • Support daily production operations by ensuring necessary materials are available and properly staged.
    • Respond to inventory and material requests from the production and engineering teams.
    • Maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet manufacturing demand while minimizing excess stock.
  • Data Management & System Usage
    • Perform accurate data entry and basic calculations to support inventory tracking and reporting.
    • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Oracle ERP system for inventory management, documentation, and training records.
    • Participate in audits and support inventory cycle counts as needed.
  • Organization & Communication
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
    • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment.
    • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory control and material handling.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma Required
  • 1+ years of inventory, warehouse, or materials coordination experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment.
  • Basic math skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
  • Understanding of inventory control principles, Kanban systems, and production support practices.
  • Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
