Job Full Description
Express Employment Professionals, Laguna Hills is recruiting Quality Test Inspector for a fast-growing Electronics manufacturing company located in Aliso Viejo.
Service Line: Evaluation to Hire, Fulltime
Pay: $17-$20/Hr.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 2nd shift FULL TIME 10:30AM or 11AM START TIME
Responsibility:
- Visual Inspection: Checking for visible defects or inconsistencies in the product. This could include checking for damage, incorrect assembly, or surface imperfections.
- Dimensional Inspection: Measuring the physical dimensions of a product to ensure they match the required specifications. This might involve using tools like calipers, micrometers, or coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Functional Testing: Verifying that the product operates as intended. This could involve running the product through a series of tests to ensure it performs correctly under various conditions.
- Material Testing: Analyzing the materials used in the product to ensure they meet the required quality standards. This might involve chemical analysis, hardness testing, or other forms of material testing.
- Documentation Review: Ensuring that all documentation related to the product is complete and accurate. This includes checking manuals, labels, and compliance certificates.
- Sampling: In cases where inspecting every item is impractical, a representative sample of the products may be inspected. This helps to ensure that the overall batch meets quality standards.
- Reporting: Documenting the findings of the inspection, including any defects or non-conformities. This report is used to communicate with the production team, suppliers, and customers.
- Corrective Actions: Identifying the root causes of any defects and implementing corrective actions to prevent them from recurring. This might involve changes to the manufacturing process, training for workers, or improvements in quality control procedures.
Requirements:
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to communicate clearly & effectively to customers, suppliers, contractors and employees of an organization.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel & Power Point.
