Express Employment Professionals, Laguna Hills is recruiting Shipping/Receiving for a fast-growing Medical Device company located in Laguna Hills.
Service Line: Evaluation to Hire, Fulltime
Pay: $20-$22/Hr.
Schedule: M-F 8:00AM-5:00PM
Responsibility:
- Follow established guidelines for Day-To-Day shipping and receiving and routine tasks.
- Ensures customer inquiries are handled in a professional and expeditious manner.
- Maintains effective communication with other individuals and departments as necessary.
- Accurately enters all order requests received via telephone, FAX, mail, and email.
- Verifies all entries for accuracy.
- Interface with distributors to handle movement of inventory in a professional manner.
- Process Instruments trays returned back from the field through washing and sterilizing cycles.
- Verify that orders are accurately filled by comparing items and quantities of goods gathered for shipment against documents and order requests.
- Prepare all shipping documents in a timely and accurate manner.
- Determine shipping method for inventory, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates.
- Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies as needed.
- Contact carrier representative to make arrangements, and issue instructions, for shipping and delivery of materials in a timely manner.
- Prepare International Shipment and Proforma invoices.
- Prepare inventory availabilities and transactions excel reports and spreadsheets.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with a medical device company, preferably specialized in spinal devices manufacturing.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with DHL, FedEx, USPS or any major shipping carrier.
- Can work independently and to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with computer systems to include Microsoft Office products, i.e. Outlook, Word and Excel (is a must).
- Comfortable learning and using Inventory systems. Experience in inventory systems is a PLUS.
- Must be a detail oriented and a fast learner.
- Attention to Detail: Accuracy counts. Need to make sure not to miss any details when counting orders and taking stock.
- Willing to submit to a background check.
