We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery & Installation Associate to join a growing dental equipment company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations and installing the equipment while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to assemble and install equipment per instructions and training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport equipment to client.
- Perform assembly and installation of equipment.
- Conduct route driving, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic regulations and safety protocols.
- Load and unload products using appropriate equipment, such as pallet jacks, ensuring items are secured for transport.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining necessary signatures upon delivery.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation of the delivery vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
- May travel out of the country for training or installation
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a courier or delivery driver is highly desirable.
- Handyman experience including minor electrical is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to lift heavy packages and perform loading/unloading tasks.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
- Must be bilingual: English and Spanish
