Back Office Medical Assistant - $18/hour to $24/hour Part-Time
We are looking for a Back Office Medical Assistant in the city of Los Alamitos, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient preparation
- Diagnostic testing
- Record keeping
- Billing and coding
- Insurance management
- Scheduling and coordination
- Prescription management
- Customer service
Qualifications:
- 1+ year experience working in medical back office
- Prior optometry or ophthalmology experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office
- Familiar with CRM system is preferred
- Great communication skills & customer service
- Strong ability to multi-task and to organize
