Job Full Description
Glazing Estimator - $25-$43/hour
We are searching for a Glazing Estimator for a company in Los Alamitos, CA. The Glazing Estimator will work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review project specifications and architectural drawings
- Cost estimations
- Vendor and supplier management
- Quantity Take-Offs: Perform precise quantity take-offs of glazing material and components to determine accurate project cost
- Bid preparation
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Glazing Estimator with 3+ years of relevant experience in the glazing or construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of glazing systems and construction methodologies
- Professional certifications in estimating or construction management are a plus
- Ability to read and interpret construction project specifications and blueprints
- Proficiency in estimating software, preferably GDS or Bluebeam and Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong organizational skill and detail oriented
