Job Full Description
Smog Technician - $30 to $40/hour
We are looking for a Smog Technician for a company in Los Alamitos, CA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct visual and functional inspections of vehicle emissions systems
- Diagnose and repair faulty emissions control components
- Perform routine maintenance on emission control systems
- Create and complete accurate work orders as well as document all inspections, repairs, and maintenance performed
- Communicate with customers about inspection results, necessary repairs, and maintenance recommendations
- Maintain and calibrate smog check equipment and tools to ensure accuracy and compliance
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Smog Technician or relating field
- Must have a Smog License
- Excellent technical knowledge and diagnostic skill
- Good verbal and written communication skill
- Good attention to details and computer skill
