CNC Operator- Lathe & Mill
Location: Los Alamitos, CA
Hours: Mon-Fri 7 am-3:30pm
Payrate $25+/hr DOE
We are urgently looking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator with experience in Lathe and Mill to run and monitor CNC mills and lathes in our production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC mills and lathes according to job specifications and setup instructions
- Load raw materials and tooling, and ensure proper alignment and calibration
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to maintain accuracy and efficiency
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred
- 2+ years of experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes
- Familiarity with aerospace materials such as aluminum, titanium, and composites
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Skilled in using precision measuring instruments
- Basic understanding of G-code and CNC controls (e.g., Fanuc, Haas, Siemens)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
