Job Full Description

Express Employment of Long Beach is hiring an Office Coordinator / Administrative Assistant to assist a maintenance / construction company for short term assignment (1-3 months).  This position supports the management team and interacts with customers.  

POSITION – Office Coordinator / Administrative Assistant $18-$22/hr.
LOCATION:  Los Alamitos
RATE: $18-22/hr. 

DAYS:  Monday – Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (Could start as early as 7am)

Essential Functions

  • Great Customer Service and Phone skills
  • Client follow ups including inspections, schedules, payments, questions
  • Answer calls, respond to emails, data entry, mail, copying, etc.
  • Coordinate with sales, purchasing, billing, management, etc.
  • Enter payments into systems
  • Participate in projects as requested by management.

Competencies

  • HS Diploma/GED required, some college preferred
  • Required 2-3 years admin experience
  • Prefer 1-2 years marketing / sales experience
  • Organized, self-paced, ask questions
  • Highly motivated and results oriented
  • Strong communication, organization, multi-tasking & time management skills
  • Experience with MS Office, Goggle and Yahoo
  • Dependable and ability to learn quickly
