Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Guitar Repair Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of stringed instruments, with a primary focus on acoustic, electric, and bass guitars. You’ll collaborate with our sales team and work directly with musicians to ensure every instrument meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and playability.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive repairs including setups, fretwork, wiring/electronics, neck resets, and structural fixes

Diagnose issues quickly and accurately, providing clear repair estimates to customers

Complete all repairs within promised timelines and quality expectations

Maintain a clean, well-organized, and well-stocked workbench and repair area

Communicate directly with customers to understand their concerns and offer expert guidance

Partner with the sales team to deliver a seamless customer experience and promote service loyalty

Stay current with the latest repair techniques, tools, and industry standards
Qualifications:

Previous experience in guitar repair, tech work, or luthiery is required

Solid understanding of guitar construction, functionality, and electronic systems

High attention to detail and a dedication to precision and craftsmanship

Strong customer service and communication skills

Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational abilities

Passion for music and empathy for the unique needs of musicians

Formal training or certification in luthiery or guitar repair is a plus, but not required
