Job Full Description
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting and setting up new electric and acoustic instruments to ensure they meet The Guitars Company's quality standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining the craftsmanship and performance expectations of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quality control inspections and setups of electric and acoustic guitars.
- Meet daily inspection/setup quotas to support department production goals.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with instruments as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience playing guitar or bass.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of guitar setup and maintenance.
- Formal education or training in guitar setup is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools used in guitar setup and repair.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented mindset with a consistent and reliable work ethic.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
