Yard / Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator)

Schedule: First Shift | Monday–Friday
Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour
Location: Glendale, CA

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable Yard / Warehouse Associate with hands-on experience operating a sit-down diesel forklift and performing concrete wiring tasks. This role supports daily yard and warehouse operations, material handling, and jobsite preparation. The ideal candidate is safety-minded, reliable, and comfortable working in both indoor warehouse and outdoor yard environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down diesel forklift to load, unload, and move materials
• Perform concrete wiring tasks, including cutting, tying, and handling rebar and wire materials
• Stage, organize, and prepare materials for distribution and jobsite use
• Assist with inventory organization and yard maintenance
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to ensure smooth daily operations
• Perform general yard and warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating a sit-down diesel forklift
• Experience with concrete wiring required
• Yard, warehouse, or construction materials experience preferred
• Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Reliable attendance and punctuality

Requirements

• Steel-toe boots required
• Ability to work first shift, Monday through Friday
• Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
