Job Full Description
Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Hours may vary; overtime is mandatory)
Pay: $28/hour and up, depending on experience
Job Summary:
Oversee and lead the plant maintenance team, ensuring machines and equipment are properly maintained, repaired, and installed to support continuous production. Focus on preventing equipment failure, improving reliability, and managing the maintenance budget and inventory systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support maintenance team members; handle scheduling, performance reviews, and training

Use and maintain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work orders and inventory

Plan and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities

Monitor maintenance progress and resolve issues quickly

Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and preventive maintenance

Enforce food safety, employee safety, and sanitation policies
-
Troubleshoot equipment issues and support engineering projects

Recommend improvements to increase efficiency and equipment performance

Participate in hiring, evaluations, and personnel decisions

Supervisory Role:
This role includes direct supervision of maintenance team members.
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field or equivalent experience
-
7+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing (food industry preferred)
-
5+ years in a leadership or management role

Experience with equipment design, installation, procurement, and large capital projects

Knowledge of safety standards, environmental compliance, and budget management
