Job Full Description

MIG Welder

We are hiring experienced MIG Welders to weld sheet metal products, including bus ramps and other transportation-related equipment.

Pay

• Starting at $23 per hour

Shift Options

• Day Shift:
  Monday–Thursday: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  Friday: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM

• Swing Shift:
  Monday–Thursday: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM

Requirements

• At least 1 year of MIG welding experience

• MIG welding certification required

• Must be able to pass a fillet weld test

• Basic knowledge of fabrication drawings

Responsibilities

• Perform consistent, high-quality hand welds

• Identify acceptable welds and maintain quality standards

• Load weld fixtures and complete hand welds accurately

• Set up fixtures and welding machines (with supervision)

• Operate equipment such as:

  • Overhead crane

  • Forklift

  • Hydraulic press

• Follow directions from the Foreman

• Identify and report process or equipment issues

• Understand and operate machine controls needed for assigned tasks
