Industrial Maintenance Technician I
The Industrial Maintenance Technician I is responsible for maintaining company equipment and facilities in safe, reliable working condition to support daily production needs. This role operates at a foundational level and plays a key part in keeping operations running smoothly.
This position also supports and complies with the company’s quality, environmental, and occupational health & safety policies, procedures, and programs. The role may involve direct communication with employees, customers, and external representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand and apply basic electrical principles
- Safely and effectively use hand and power tools
- Troubleshoot equipment and maintenance issues
- Utilize the maintenance ticketing system to document completed work
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on production and facility equipment
- Follow all regulations related to the identification, storage, and disposal of hazardous waste
- Maintain clean and organized work areas across departments
Education & Experience:
- Certificate from a college or technical school or
- 3–6 months of related experience/training or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience
Schedule:
- Day Shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM; Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Pay Range:
$30–$34 per hour, depending on experience
