Now Hiring: CNC Lathe/Milling Machinist
Pay Rate: $26.00 – $32.00 per hour (based on experience)
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe/Milling Machinist to operate, maintain, and produce high-quality parts using CNC equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong blueprint reading skills, attention to detail, and experience working in a precision manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain CNC lathe and milling machines
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate production
- Perform precise measurements and ensure parts meet specifications
- Select appropriate tooling, machines, and settings for each job
- Plan and execute the proper sequence of machining operations
- Monitor production processes and adjust feeds, speeds, and settings as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and compliance with specifications
Qualifications
- Experience operating CNC lathe and/or milling machines
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Basic knowledge of CNC programming is preferred
- Familiarity with Mazak Mazatrol controls is highly desirable
- Fabrication experience is a plus
- Welding experience or certifications are a plus
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CNC machine programming
- Knowledge of machining best practices and tooling
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Position is 4x10s and starts at 5a. Schedule is Mon-Thu
