Class A Driver – Oakdale, CA
We are currently seeking an experienced Class A Driver to join our team in Oakdale. This is a physically demanding position requiring a strong work ethic, safe driving practices, and the ability to handle multiple deliveries each day.
Compensation
- $27.00 - $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule
- Sunday through Friday
- Days off: Wednesday and Saturday
- Start times range from 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM, depending on workload
- Average workday: 10–12 hours
Responsibilities
- Safely operate both manual and automatic transmission Class A vehicles
- Deliver products to customers using refrigerated trailers
- Complete 10–12 deliveries per day
- Load, unload, and move products as needed
- Operate electric pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment
- Maintain accurate delivery records and follow DOT regulations
Qualifications
- Must be at least 25 years old
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum of 2 years of Class A driving experience
- 2–3 years of experience operating refrigerated trailers
- Ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission trucks
- Experience operating electric pallet jacks
- General warehouse experience preferred, including:
- Stand-up forklift operation
- Riding pallet jack operation
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding work
- Frequent lifting of boxes weighing up to 80–90 lbs.
- Ability to work long shifts and complete multiple deliveries daily
Additional Requirements
- Clean DMV driving record
- Successful completion of a background check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
