Maintenance Mechanic (Montebello, CA)
$25.00 per hour / DOE
Monday-Friday / 6am - 2:30pm

A manufacturing company in the city of Montebello is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Maintenance Mechanic to join the team and support daily operations by ensuring all machinery and mechanical systems operate efficiently and safely. Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Set up, troubleshoot, and repair machines to minimize downtime.
- Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors, and pneumatic systems.
- Follow manuals, diagrams, and specifications to diagnose issues.
- Dismantle equipment to replace or repair defective parts.
- Use calipers, micrometers, levels, plumb bobs and other precision tools for accurate measurements.
- Train operators on basic maintenance practices.
- Fabricate replacement parts using shop equipment when needed.
- Track inventory and assist with ordering repair parts.
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and reports.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
Maintenance Mechanic Requirements:
- Proven experience with mechanical systems and machine operation
- Skilled in using hand tools and measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Able to read technical documents and follow procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
