Monday-Friday / 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
A trucking company dedicated to providing top-tier logistics solutions to our clients is looking for an experienced Dispatcher to manage daily freight operations. This role involves verifying shipment details, tracking and tracing loads, handling customer communications, and ensuring accurate data entry. Dispatch Responsibilities:
- Verify pickup and delivery information for all shipments
- Enter and maintain shipment data in spreadsheets and internal systems
- Update daily logs with current shipment status and key details
- Track and trace shipments; communicate updates to customers
- Send necessary documents and notifications to clients
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve service-related issues
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure on-time deliveries and efficient routing
Dispatch Requirements:
- Must have prior experience with local dispatch in the trucking industry
- Proficient with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
