Monday- Friday / 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
A manufacturing company is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Stand-Up Forklift operator with receiving experience to join our team. This position supports both drivers and the Receiving Department in the day-to-day operations of our fast-paced manufacturing facility. The Receiving Assistant plays a key role in preparing products for delivery, ensuring accuracy in orders, and maintaining a clean and organized shipping area. Stand-Up Forklift Responsibilities:
- Assist drivers and the Receiving Department with daily tasks
- Prepare products for delivery via local or interstate freight
- Wrap pallets in accordance with company specifications
- Conduct random order checks to minimize order errors
- Operate sit-down, clamp, and stand-up forklift vehicles (must be certified)
- Use RF scanner to put away received items and assist in tracking inventory
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
- Check and stage freight to verify accuracy in product and quantities
- Assist in loading orders for special customer requirements
- Maintain cleanliness in shipping areas, including dock, staging, and returns
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Stand-Up Forklift Requirements:
- Must be forklift certified and experience with stand-up forklift
- Basic knowledge of RF scanners required
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Basic math and measurement skills required
