Monday-Friday / 7:00am - 3:30pm
A manufacturer of high-end store display fixtures is seeking a skilled TIG Welder / Metal Polisher to join our fabrication team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in TIG welding, metal polishing, and fabrication, and comfortable working with a range of tools and shop equipment in a fast-paced production environment. TIG Welder / Metal Polisher Responsibilities
• Fabricate and assemble metal components per blueprints and specifications
• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals with quality precision
• Polish and finish metals using polishers, grinders, and related tools
• Prepare and modify parts by grinding, drilling, milling, and tapping
• Operate hoists, cranes, and other fabrication equipment safely
• Inspect work for accuracy using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Maintain and set up welding machines, change wire and gas tanks as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
• Collaborate with team members and assist in other departments as required
TIG Welder / Metal Polisher Requirements:
• 5+ years of TIG welding experience preferred
• Proven experience in metal fabrication and polishing
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols
• Skilled in the use of polishers, grinders, drills, milling, and tapping tools
• Knowledge of hoists, cranes, and standard measuring instruments
• Strong attention to detail and steady hand-eye coordination
• Ability to bend, lift, and push up to 50 lbs
• Must follow all safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace
