2nd Shift Cutter Assistant
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday / 1:00 PM-9:30 PM
Must be available for overtime as needed
A printing company is seeking a Cutter Assistant to support daily production operations. This position will assist the Die Cutter Operator with preparing materials, production tasks, and maintaining an organized work area.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and stage materials for the die-cutting machine
- Assist with machine setup and production as needed
- Pull, organize, and return die boards
- Process and organize materials after die cutting
- Read and follow job tickets, work orders, and instructions
- Operate an electric pallet jack
- Assist with palletizing, wrapping, and loading materials
- Support additional production tasks as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow established safety procedures
Requirements:
- Previous manufacturing, production, printing, or warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions
- Comfortable learning and operating production equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Must be available to work overtime as needed
