Job Full Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with assigning duties and leading team to efficient and effective processing of returns that meets or exceeds company needs and standards.
  • Train and develop warehouse personnel, including warehouse associates and shift leads, to ensure company goals are met and employees develop to full potential.
  • Perform inspections on product returns, subassemblies or finished company products according to well defined criteria using standard physical, mechanical and/or visual criteria.
  • Identify, approve or reject products as required.
  • Accurately document the results of the inspections and identification.
  • Checks measurements and identification of incoming returns, materials, parts and components.
  • Oversee, teach and complete cycle counts.
  • Coordinate re-boxing from one brand to another.
  • Assist with TO receipts of overstock and QC Product from other DCs.
  • Inspects physical conditions of warehouse routinely to ensure the warehouse is safe, clean, and maintained.
  • Ensure that warehouse equipment is inspected at the beginning of each shift and appropriate documentation is maintained.
  • Manage and upkeep box inventory.
  • Respectfully and diligently take on any other job duties assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge and ability to lead a team in the efficient and effective processing of returns
  • Technically proficient. Experience with/understanding of automotive parts, especially CV axle
  • Hands-on experience developing return-related processes, procedures, KPIs, etc.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
  • Broad knowledge of Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organization skills with an ability to prioritize
  • Strong leadership skills with a bias for action
  • Self-motivated with the ability to deliver measurable results
  • Detail-oriented
  • Good problem solver and decision-maker

  • Strong at delegating and monitoring

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to drive a sit-down forklift is required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to speak, read, and communicate in English
