Job Title: Welder / Fabricator (Steel & Aluminum)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator experienced in working with both steel and aluminum materials. The ideal candidate will be proficient in MIG welding, able to read blueprints and fabrication drawings, and capable of producing high-quality welded products for commercial, industrial, or custom fabrication projects.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on steel and aluminum components
Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal products and structures
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders
Measure, cut, grind, and fit materials to specifications
Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and quality standards
Operate fabrication equipment such as saws, grinders, presses, and cutting tools
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
Assist with layout, setup, and finishing of fabricated products
Work independently or with a team to meet production deadlines

Qualifications

Proven welding and fabrication experience with steel and aluminum
Proficiency in MIG welding required; TIG welding optional
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
Experience using fabrication and metalworking tools
Strong attention to detail and workmanship quality
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
Valid driver’s license preferred
Welding certifications

Preferred Skills

Experience with custom fabrication
Knowledge of structural welding techniques
Ability to troubleshoot fit-up and welding issues
Forklift or shop equipment experience

Work Environment

Shop and/or field environment
Exposure to heat, sparks, noise, and heavy equipment
Use of PPE required at all times
