Job Full Description
We are seeking two experienced Warehouse Supervisors to join our team at a food distribution company based in Oakland, CA. The ideal candidates will oversee daily warehouse operations, ensure inventory accuracy, and maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Must be flexible with the schedule and have transportation. English and Spanish speaking preferred.
Schedule:
- Day Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 4:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Night Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 5:00 PM – 4:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate warehouse operations to meet productivity goals.
- Oversee inventory control and perform regular cycle counts.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
- Operate and supervise forklift activities (must be certified).
- Train and lead warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for reporting and communication.
- Adapt to company-specific computer systems and processes.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of warehouse operations experience (required).
- Forklift certification (required).
- Ability to work in cold storage environments.
- Availability to work overtime and flexibility with scheduling.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
