We are seeking a hands-on QA/QC Technician with food manufacturing experience to join our team in a high‑volume bakery environment. This role is primarily responsible for conducting on-the-floor quality verifications, ensuring compliance with food safety standards, and supporting production teams with real-time quality checks.
 
The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, and able to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily on-the-floor verifications, including weight checks, label verifications, and product quality assessments
  • Monitor and enforce GMPs, food safety, and quality standards throughout the facility
  • Document all inspections, corrective actions, and quality data accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist with pre‑operational inspections, sanitation verification, and allergen checks
  • Communicate quality issues to production leadership and recommend corrective actions

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years QA/QC experience in food manufacturing (bakery experience strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of food safety principles, GMPs, and quality procedures
  • Ability to work overnight and variable/as-needed schedules
  • Fluent in Spanish (required) – written or verbal; both preferred
  • Comfortable working on the production floor for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures
  • Ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, as typical in a bakery production environment
