Job Full Description
We are a growing pastry company in Emeryville, CA seeking dependable and detail-oriented Production/Line Assembly Workers to support our bakery operations. This role involves preparing, assembling, and packaging pastry products in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness. This is a full-time, temp to perm job with opportunity for overtime available.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, prepare, and package pastry products on the production line
- Follow recipes, production schedules, and quality standards
- Operate basic production and packaging equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Comply with food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily production goals
- Perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods
Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended shifts as needed
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Prior food production or assembly experience is a plus, but not required
Shift Schedule
Applicants must be available for morning or evening shifts, including possible weekend work:
- Morning Shift: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
- Evening Shift: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM
- Weekends: May include 12-hour shifts
