Job Full Description
We are seeking reliable and motivated Production Operator to join our wax production team in Richmond, CA. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with excellent opportunities for long-term growth and career advancement. This is a full time, Monday - Friday graveyard shift position (12:00am-8:00am). Starting at $22/hr.
Qualifications:
- Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent lifting (up to 65 lbs)
- Basic math skills for weighing and recording product data
- Forklift experience preferred (or willingness to learn)
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working overnight/graveyard shift
Responsibilities:
- Fill and empty slabbing machines
- Lift and pull wax slabs (approx. 10 lbs)
- Pivot and place slabs onto rollers
- Cut wax tops using slabbing machines
- Push scraper at chest height across machinery
- Remove cut tops and place in designated containers
- Operate pastille bagger during production runs
- Lift bags (50–55 lbs) from floor, waist, and shoulder level
- Monitor equipment and report abnormalities
