Position Summary:
The Stakebed Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional delivery of materials, tools, and components to job sites, vendors, and clients. This role plays a key part in maintaining the efficiency of project timelines by ensuring the field crews have what they need, when they need it.
Key Responsibilities:

Safely operate a stakebed truck to transport patio cover materials, tools, and equipment

Load and unload materials using proper safety procedures and equipment

Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues

Communicate with job site crews and office staff to coordinate deliveries and pickups

Secure all loads in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards

Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
-
Represent the company professionally at all times with clients, contractors, and the public

Assist with warehouse or yard duties as needed during downtime
Qualifications:
-
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Class C required, Class B a plus)

Minimum 1 year of experience driving stakebed or similar commercial vehicles

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform physical labor in varying weather conditions

Strong knowledge of safe loading/unloading practices and road safety

Familiarity with construction materials is a plus

Excellent communication and time-management skills

Must be dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
