Job Summary: A Forklift handling company in Corona, CA is looking to add a few forklift technicians to their team! Responsibilities include:
 
  • Accurately troubleshoot and diagnose standard problems with customer's equipment, including
    repair engines, power trains, electrical and hydraulic machines.
  • Identify and order parts necessary to complete repairs and routine maintenance.
  • Perform standard repairs on customer's equipment.
  • Replace parts and equipment as necessary.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment according to established guidelines and schedules.
  • Complete all work orders, time sheets and other required paperwork in a legible, accurate and
    timely manner.
  • Work and manage workloads independently, with a sense of urgency and complete in a timely manner.
  • Providing exceptional customer service
  • Technicians are responsible for company vehicle and on-board parts inventory
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Perform all work in accordance with established quality standards and safety procedures.
  • All Technicians are required to have their own tools and know how to use them properly and
    safely.
  • Complies with the company’s polices and business ethics
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing and achieving results
  • Performs other tasks or projects as assigned by supervisor
  • All technicians are assigned to an on call schedule approximately one week per month depending on the number of technicians in the rotation.

Schedule: Monday – Friday 4AM-3:30PM  
 
Education, Work Experience, Skill Requirements & Certifications:

1. Minimum Education (or substitute experience) required:
 High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
2. Minimum Experience required:
2 years of vocational training and/or entry level repair experience in forklifts, automotive,
farm equipment and heavy industrial vehicles or scissor life equipment.Previous field experience is highly preferable
3. Skills Required:
Must have excellent electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills and the
ability to read wiring schematics.
Experience in troubleshooting and repairing forklifts.
Ability to use basic hand tools and electronic meters.
Excellent mechanical aptitude
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work
independently
Must be dependable and trustworthy
Ability to utilize the available time to organize and complete work within given deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively with others using the spoken word.
Ability to take care of the customer’s needs while following company procedures.
Basic computer navigation and utilization skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office
applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) preferred.
Be willing to travel and drive for long periods of time (2 or more hours).
Strong sense of urgency, self-motivation and discipline.
Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
Ability to operate forklifts and related equipment.
4. Minimum License, Certifications & Affiliations/Memberships and CEU’s
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
OSHA certified in classes 1-5 of industrial equipment.
