Job Full Description
Job Summary: A local CPA firm in Corona, CA is looking to hire a Junior Accountant!
Responsibilities includes:
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Analyze trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
• Report organization’s finances to management, offer suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
• Post daily cash receipts, cash disbursements, tax withholding, and deposits.
• Maintain and record fixed assets.
• Compile, enter, and post monthly adjusted journal entries.
• Resolve discrepancies and respond to compliance reporting requests on a timely basis.
• Assist in preparation of financial and operational audits.
• Assist with daily and monthly workflow as needed.
Location: Corona, CA
Position Type: On going
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
Qualifications:
- Associates or bachelor's degree in business managements and finance or accounting Major
- 2-4 years of experience in Accounting
- Must be working towards or committed to getting the CPA qualification
- 2+ years of QuickBooks software work experience
