General Labor Production Technician: Full-Time

💲 $20.50 per hour
Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking General labor production technicians looking for a full-time opportunity with a reputable manufacturing company in Cabazon, CA. We are looking for reliable, safety-focused individuals who thrive in a fast-paced production environment and are committed to quality and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Operate, changeover, clean, troubleshoot, and perform basic maintenance on production equipment including fillers, labelers, case packers, palletizers, blow mold machines, wrappers, and forklifts

Record preventative maintenance activities, quality inspections, equipment downtime, production output, and other key metrics
-
Perform hourly quality checks to ensure top-quality product standards
-
Inspect raw materials prior to loading to verify quality compliance
-
Meet or exceed production, efficiency, and downtime goals
-
Troubleshoot equipment issues and assist with root cause analysis
-
Perform basic mathematical calculations as needed
-
Communicate operational issues clearly and effectively
-
Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and other departments
-
Cross-train in other departments to support operations
Requirements / Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
-
Prior clean manufacturing experience preferred
-
Experience in high-speed production and/or basic maintenance preferred
-
Troubleshooting and root cause analysis experience preferred

Forklift experience a plus- Sit down
-
Basic computer skills required; Microsoft Office experience needed, SAP experience a plus

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods

Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including temperature changes
