Job Full Description
Position Overview
We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Delivery Driver to operate a 26' box truck for local pickups and deliveries. This role includes loading and unloading the truck, as well as general labor duties such as assisting with packaging, crating, and warehouse tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a 26' box truck for local deliveries and pickups
- Load and unload items using proper equipment and techniques
- Perform general labor tasks including packaging, crating, and warehouse support
- Inspect truck before and after trips and report any issues
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
Qualifications
- Valid California driver’s license (Class C preferred)
- Clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year of experience driving a box truck
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and use pallet jacks, dollies, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Preferred Skills
- Experience with fragile or high-value item handling
- Familiarity with GPS and routing software
- Forklift certification a plus
