Job Full Description
Join as a Fire Extinguisher Technician, where you will play a vital role
in ensuring fire safety compliance and system functionality across various commercial
and industrial sites. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with
cutting-edge fire suppression systems, conduct inspections, and deliver exceptional
service that safeguards lives and property. As a key contributor, you will utilize your
technical expertise and passion for safety to maintain high standards of fire protection
readiness.
Duties
● Required Immediately
● Annual and monthly inspections
Required Within 30 Days
● Low-pressure hydrotesting
● Visual internal inspections
● Tank drying and reassembly
● Clean agent handling: Halon, Halotron, and agent transfers
Future Responsibilities
● Mobile service support (optional)
● Mentoring junior techs
● Supporting Fire Etc. Studios content (optional)
● 6-year teardowns
● Recharge of all common extinguisher types
● Valve/hose/nozzle repairs and replacements
● Pressure/leak checks
● Recordkeeping and tagging
● Walk-in customer counter service
● Inventory awareness and shop equipment care
