Job Full Description
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician (Level 2 or 3) to join our team in a fast-paced food & beverage manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on production machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose and repair PLC-controlled equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams.
- Prioritize and resolve downtime issues efficiently.
- Assist with installation and upgrades of new equipment.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams.
- (Level 3) Lead projects, support capital improvements, and mentor team members.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
- Experience in food & beverage manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
Work Environment:
- Food manufacturing facility (wet/dry, temperatures from 25°F to 115°F).
- Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment.
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Schedule: 6am-7am start time (3-6 month LOA coverage)
